Campus Role: Teacher
Campus Team: Health Science
In high school, I knew I wanted to be an Athletic Trainer because I was always hurt, and I spent so much time in the Athletic Training Room. As I went to college for Sports Medicine, I knew I had found my ‘calling’. In 2010, I got hired as an Assistant Athletic Trainer and a teacher and spent 5 wonderful years on the sidelines. As difficult as it was, I made the decision to leave my passion to teach Health Science Education full time and I can proudly say I found another home in education. Fast forward 13 years, I’m now a mom of 2, Sloane (8) and Logan (5), have my Masters in Educational Administration, and looking to the future in my educational career.
