The School Health Advisory Council (SHAC), on behalf of the District, shall review and consider evidence-based strategies and techniques and shall develop nutrition guidelines and wellness criteria. In the development, implementation, and review of these guidelines and criteria, the SHAC shall permit participation by parents, students, representatives of the District's food service provider, physical education teachers and school health professionals, members of the Board, school administrators, and members of the public.
The 好色先生TV Board of Trustees shall appoint at least five members to the SHAC. A majority of members must be persons who are parents of students enrolled in the district and who are not employed by the district. One of those members shall serve as chair or co-chair of the SHAC.
The School Health Advisory Council meets four times per year.
