We transformed into Santa's workshop, complete with reindeer, elves, and the big guy himself! 馃巺鉁 The creativity was off the charts, and the holiday spirit was contagious!

6th graders presenting their Trash to Treasure project to conclude their informational unit where we learned about plastic pollution and recycling. They were tasked with creating an object made completely out of items around their house such as cereal boxes, water bottles or other recyclable materials. Students presented their projects to the class by explaining what inspired them to create their object, what materials they used and who helped them and what they learned during our informational unit and how it connected to their project. Some of the students shared how the crafts that their own parents or grandparents used to do as little kids inspired them and they turned it into a family project.
